SSH could be used to debug problem bootup problems and one of them may be /home (with opt) not getting mounted.<br /> <br /> I would also recommend using LZO packed sizes of the package contents as the rootfs is compressed. Non-compressed package size, or the size reported by dpkg are bogus in regards to disk usage.
